It's a CHALLENGE!

This month, I am starting us off with a challenge!

Hey Se.lah family! Today marks the first day of April and I thought that we should start it off with a challenge! Studies show that we only need 21 days to form a habit. So, each day for 30 days we will designate some time to nourish ourselves: mind, body and soul. Below, I will lay out the daily routine template. And...There will be journal prompts daily. You ready? Let’s go!

1. Something for the: SOUL

With everything going on, it can be hard to remain focused on the good things. Those things that nurture us and encourage us and remind us that we are more resilient than we know. Begin your day by meditating, reading, or journaling for at least 30 minutes. Here are some things that you are welcome to join in with me on:

April 1, 2020: What is your favorite thing to wake up to in the morning?

1. Something for the: BODY

Commit to incorporating daily exercises in your routine. This time could be yoga, walking/ jogging outside (while keeping social distancing recs, of course) or you can join me in this kettleball challenge:

3. Something for the: MIND

Learn one new skill today. This could be a new recipe, a new tutorial, how to write a book, how to draw, how to code, how, to create content, start a blog, how to understand investments… if you have always wondered how to do it or IF you could do it, check it out on youtube and earn yourself some transferable skills.

4. Something for the: HEART

Connect this week.

Set some time out to connect with your friends outside of just a group text.

Ok family, that’s it! I will upload the weekly kettlebell challenge for each week on Wednesday, a new devotional each week, and a gratitude journal prompt daily. I am so excited to hear about your progress! See you next week!

Love, R.
