Tell us your name and where you're from?
D: Hi my name is Dorian Logue and I'm from Claremont, California
What is your faith story, Dorian? What can you tell us about your personal life testimony?
D: Growing up, I always believed in God and that He was the only way; but I didn't follow his way much. Fast forward to when I was 13: I started to kinda get into new age believing for about 2 years but wasn't consistent with it. I still believed in God and I started serving in church on the soundboard. Later when I was 15, I stopped all the new age stuff and fully turned to God and decided to follow him. Then my senior year I started a Christian club at my high school called Jesus Club with the help of my youth pastor: Pastor Haron Kaisa.
What is your favorite scripture and why?
D: My favorite scripture is 1 Corinthians 13:4-7:
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking,it is not easily angered,it keeps no record of wrongs.6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
because it talks about what real love is and how to live it out by being kind patient slow to anger, not boasting, not being envious etc. It applies in any relationship that you have with people.
If there was one nugget of wisdom in your walk and growth in Christ that you would want to leave us with, what would that be?
D: I would definitely say to preach to yourself, whenever you read anything in the Bible, always ask yourself "How does this point to Jesus?", and last but not least- pray always.
Do you have any resources (devotionals, books, studies) that have helped you that you would recommend?
D: I only have one resource and that is Bible Project on YouTube
Thank you Dorian! Lastly, where can other youth that are where you were find you online?

Takeaway:
Dorian's voice and testimony is so important. No matter what age we are, we have all experienced or know someone that has been or is currently in a place of searching for something. We were all innately designed that way. Whether you are in your youth reading this or an adult in a place of searching: I pray that you are encouraged with Dorian's story. And if you are already a believer, I pray that you take time to ask God to show you how you can love someone through their journey today; How you can be used to pour into someone. You may not always have the answers. But all God asks is for us to sow that seed... And God will grow it (1 Corinthians 3:6-9)
Prayer:
Lord I first thank you today. I thank you that you delight in our seeking, because you put that in us. As I lift up and cover every reader today, I thank you that you promised us in Matthew 7, that if the seekers ask, they will find YOU. If they knock, you will open the door, and that anyone who asks to receive you will freely give it to them. So Lord, I pray in agreement that their search is met today where they are at. I pray that they are surrounded with people to love them through their journey. And for those ready to accept you today or have felt far from you lately, I pray this prayer in agreement with them: "Jesus come into my life and my heart. I I believe you are the Son of God, that you died on the cross to rescue me from sin and death and to restore me to the Father. I choose now to turn from my sins and every part of my life that does not please you. I choose you. I give myself to you. I receive your forgiveness and ask you to take your rightful place in my life as my Savior and Lord."
And lastly Father, I lift up every believer that is reading this. I ask that you reveal new ways for us to pour into the lives of those that you bring in our path. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Have a great weekend Selah fam! Love you and praying for you always,
R.
